Since 1917 the Bayard Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served the Bayard area, and for the past several years we have sent letters seeking financial support from you, the members of the community we serve. Your generosity has allowed us to purchase equipment and provide training to our membership above and beyond what is available through our normal yearly budget. Each year our department provides emergency medical services, fire suppression, fire prevention education, first aid training, controlled burns, and medical standbys. Many of these activities would not be possible without your generous financial support, and we will continue to make upgrades and improvements wherever we can. With your help we can continue to provide a high level of Fire and EMS protection, education, and activities for our community.
