Pool Manager
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHELP WANTED: The City of Bayard is accepting applications for Pool Manager. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Job Requirements: 18 years old (pool operators), pass pre-employment and/or “random” drug test, possession of lifeguarding certificate, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate (CPR), First Aid certification & knowledge of swimming techniques, (possess Pool Operator (NE) working knowledge of the principles {pool operators only}), WSI certification preferred, but not required. Swimming test will be conducted and must be passed.
Essential job duties: Patrol pool and watch swimmers, teach swim lessons, collect entrance fees, meet and deal effectively with the public, understand and follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively, stand or sit for extended periods of time. Perform pool related maintenance duties as assigned. Duties to include but not limited to: cleaning pool deck and equipment, sanitizing bathhouse, trash removal, pre-opening preparations and/or (backwashing and basic chemical responsibilities of a Nebraska CPO.{pool operators only}) Applications can be picked up at the City Office, 445 Main Street, Bayard, NE 69334 or downloaded at www.cityofbayard.net.
