The City of Bayard has an automated phone system to notify the residents of any upcoming events, such as: scheduled power or water outages, emergency outages, snow emergencies or any other time sensitive information. This is the best way to get messages out to everyone at the same time. If you have entered your phone number with us in the past rest assured you are still in the system; However, if you have changed your number since you first signed up, and not given that information to the City you will not be in the system. therefore you will not be notified. If you do not want to have a phone call, the system can text and email as well. The City of Bayard and Blackboard never share your personal information. 

While this information is not required, it is the best way to get the information sent out if an emergency occurs. If you need to be added to the list or need to update your contact information please call 308-586-1121, email cityoffice@cityofbayard.net, or come by the city office. We are open Monday - Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
